Soul Shop is a one-day workshop designed for faith-based leaders and those who work with faith-based communities to learn suicide awareness, the skills for a basic suicide conversation, how to cultivate a soul-safe culture, and how to encourage those that you serve to be willing to share their stories.
The Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation is not a faith-based organization, we understand that faith communities are perfectly positioned to identify and respond to the needs of individuals in their communities, including those involving
suicide. Therefore, our objective is to use this training to teach the skills needed to better serve those
experiencing suicidal desperation by facilitating the dialogue about the intersection of faith and suicide prevention.
