The Speak Life platform was created in response to growing suicide rates, especially rates in the Black community. We understand that our target communities deeply believe that the tongue yields power. We wanted a chance to act on this principle and change the negative perception that “speaking or talking about suicide will make it happen”. Our goal is for the power of the tongue to be used to speak life, encouraging those suffering in silence to seek help.
